About

A Roegadyn from the Streets, Silent Thorn is known around Ul'dah as someone who will take most any odd-job. Despite her success as a Freelancer, she can be found breaking rocks in the Quarry some days, cooking and cleaning behind the counter of a market stall on Sapphire Avenue the next. Her confident, friendly demeanor and work ethic earned her the reputation over her childhood struggles, but if pressed for history there's many a merchant who remember her days as an Urchin, stealing food and valuables to survive.

Those involved in the Liberation of Bozja might know her face, her experiences on the Front shaped her choice of equipment. As well, fighting as part of a larger force has grown the need to protect she already naturally had, leading her towards Bodyguard work now that she's home.

OOC Info

While Thorn's not one for thinking less of someone for an opinion, that doesn't mean hers are ones I even agree with. Her story includes things that might make you uncomfortable, but if you don't ask, she won't tell.

Any PvP RP conflict will be handled by d20 rolls at best of three or five to avoid dramatics. If you try to start a fight with Thorn I'll assume you've read this.

The Adventurer's Guild
Thorn is known for taking every contract that fits her skillset. She tends to return multiple times a day when possible, taking another contract when she does so, and possibly drawing the ire of others who might have benefitted from the work. This extends to knowledge about a particular contract as well, if that's your angle.

Sapphire Lane
Whether you know her from her Urchin days, her work ethic when she takes day work at a stall or one of the unfortunate times she's hired to shakedown a loan truant, Thorn is a constant presence in the Ul'dahn markets.

The Azeyma Sect Orphanage
Thorn was left in the care of the Azeyma faithful as a baby. She was the muscle for a gang of Urchins, and had a reputation for being loud and aggressive, willingly starting fights with groups that outnumbered her. The other Urchins in her group called her the Copper Bull, teasing her for idolizing Raubahn and on account of her constantly beaten appearance.

The Bozjan Liberation Army
Thorn took part in the liberation of Bozja for eighteen months, fighting Garleans as a mercenary embedded with a regular unit. Garleans from the 4th probably wouldn't have heard of any particular exploits, but that doesn't mean nobody could recognize her from the battlefield.
